Protect your self from credit card thieves

I was a victim of credit card fraud a couple of months and after that I became paranoid about protecting my crds and information. I went out and ordered myself some aluminum credit card wallet with RFID blocking case. I could not believe how long it took my bank to figure out that it wasn't me who committed all those fraud charges. I do not ever want to go through the same thing ever again.
