What makes a great wedding gift?

I love finding awesome deals and especially when I had to find a gift for my friends wedding shower. The wedding shower theme was kitchen appliances and I wanted to get the new couple something that they would use often. I am glad I was able to find the Hamilton Coffeemaker and stand mixer bundle. I am sure my friend will like it especially because it's in her favorite color.

I haven't met someone who can make delicious pasteries like my friend karen. I know her husband will enjoy the coffeemaker while she makes cakes and pies for her new hubby.
If you were to buy a gift for a couple just starting out what would you have chosen? Do you use the gift registry if they have one or do you just use your best judgement? I like to use wedding registries unless they don'y have one. I also cheat and ask the bride what it is that they need the most.

I will never get lost again

As a person who is always getting lost, a GPS is a must have for me. I didn't want to be spending an arm and a leg for a gps  but wanted one that was reliable. I searched high and low til I found a great deal on a Garmin Nuvi 1100LM. I wanted a GPS that I didn't have to pay more than a hundred dollars on and I wanted to make sure that it had lifetime maps on it. Like I said  I am always getting lost and spending less than a hundred dollars was worth it for me.

The turn by turn directions is just what I need when I am driving and since I have had my GPS I haven't gotten lost once. My family loves me having the GPS because I made it to dinner dates and outing on time. I love my little electronic device and I love the fact that I only spent 64.98 on my lifesaving GPS.

A glipse of the past at a awesome price

My hubby has been wanting an Atari system like the one he played when he was a little child. I went looking for one and couldn't find anything close to what he wanted. I almost gave up til I went on buy.com and found  the Atari Flashback 3 Classic Game Console. This Atari system comes with 60 built in games and the system is only 44.50 with free shipping. My hubby is going to be so happy that he will get to play all the games he did when he was a child.

I stress every year on what to get hubby for his birthday but this year I am good to go. With the savings I am getting I am going to buy him some clothes and I am good to go for his birthday. I cannot believe my luck at finding the exact system I was looking for and at such a greaat price. I made sure I have my game set ordered

How do you celebrate Cinco de Mayo? My family gets together and we either go to the beach or a park and have a picnic and a friendly game of volleyball or badminton. The first thing I did  today was order my sportcraft badminton and volleyball set  which was only 19.00 so I can ready for this years party. I dont usually bring the games but this year I have been in charge of the games, while my sister in law is in charge of the drinks. Most years I have been in charge of decorations since I am good at picking fun colorful pinatas and picking the best candy to fill them with.

It's a good thing my aunts and my grandma is in charge of making the food.  I am not the best of cooks and I dont know how edible my food or desserts would be. I love eating my aunt's food because I think they are the best cooks in the world. Everytime I bring friends over to our parties they rant and rave about how good the food is. I make sure to take left overs and so do my friends. What will you be doing this Cinco de Mayo? In case you are wondering this is the game set I ordered.

Clean floors I can eat out of

I go a little overboard when it comes to cleaning. I like to have my house as clean as can be in case anyone decides to pay me a vist. I have always liked the Bissell brand because my Bissell vacuum has lasted me many years. When we moved into this house about 3 years ago I needed a hard floor vacumm and of course I chose the Bisell hard floor vacuum to use in my home. I love the power the Bissell has when it comes to cleaning and I love the price on it too. Right now you can get the Bissell hard floor vacuum for 35.52 which is a bargain let me tell you.

When I bought my hard floor vacuum I paid around 50 dollars and I thought that was a deal. I was glas at how clean my floors looked that I didn't care about the price. My friends have all asked me what kind of vacuum I use on my floors and I tell them that I didn't spend as much as they have. All my friends can't believe hoe good my vacuum works and quite honestly I am glad I found such a good vacuum at a good price.

A digital camera with 14mp for less than 30 bucks

If you know anything about me you know that I love shopping.I love finding sales and items at a discounted price. One sale I found today was a Kodak 14 mp camera for 29.99 if you blinked and thought I made a mistake I didn't the Kodak camera is really 29.99 and guess what I did, I ordered 3 of those camera one in each color they come in. I am planning to give these cameras to my nieces and nephews. This camera usually costs around 100 dollars. I love an awesome shopping find like this one.

There is no greater feeling for me than getting items at such a discounted price. When I find great deals like this I make sure I buy more than one of the item so I am prepared when it comes time to give gifts to people. It is always good to be prepared for birthday parties or anything else and have gifts ready to be wrapped and given to friends or family. Do you prepare in advance for birthday parties or events? Memories from my childhood

One of my fondest memories of my grandmother is of her and I swinging on a hammock. My grandma and I would lay on the hammock and she would tell me stories of her childhood. I loved going to her house because it meant that I would be able to lay in the hammock and spend quality time with my gammy (thats what I called her). I would ask my mom time and time again to buy me a hammock but she never did.

Today I saw a Portable Parachute Nylon Silk Hammock and it brought me back to when I was a child hanging out at grandma's house. The first thing I did was order the hammock especially because it was 26.99 and let me tell you that is a bargain price. I love finding things I want at a bargain price or on sale. I can't wait til my package comes and I set my hammock up. I have books ready to be read on it. This weather is perfect weather for a hammock.

Shopping for deal wether its a custom engagement ring or a karaoke machine

I love looking for great bargains and one of my favorite activities is going on the internet to see what sales I can find. Wether I am shopping for custom engagement rings or a Singing Machine Portable Karaoke Player with Two CDs as long as its a great shopping find you will see it mentioned here. My daughter recently asked me for a karaoke machine but when I went looking for one they were priced too high. I was lucky to find this deal on a sing machine you might think it cost over a hundred dollars but nope its priced at 39.00 and shipping is included.

I wish I could get some custom engagement rings so cheap but really I perfer quality when it comes to my rings and I am glad hubby has been saving up to get me my rings for our vow renewal. I will keep looking though for the best deals and I am not too shy to let him know of a good deal or two especially when it comes to big items.

One of my awesome shopping finds

I am a technology geek and I love any electronics I can get my hands on. I love finding bargains and when I saw the Rim BlackBerry PlayBook 16GB Tablet I said I have to have it. I have been wanting a tablet for quite some time. I originally wanted an Apple Ipad but the price on a Ipad is out of my budget range. This Blackberry playbook at 199.99 with free shipping is something i can afford and use.

I own a Blackberry cellphone and love all the features it has. The next step for me was to own a playbook by the same makers of my great phone. The cameras it has is also a nice feature when I want to take pictures. This tablet fits nicely in my purse and I love being able to take it with me wherever I go.

Just last week I went to the park with my nieces and nephews and they had a great time playing with the apps. If you are wondering what I think about this playbook I will tell you its the most awesome shopping find I have done in a while.

Beautiful pictures of my surroundings

I love going out to the fields around my house and taking pictures of the cows and the flowers and the trees close by. There is nothing that brightens up my day more than being able to take pictures and then get them printed out. I have been lucky to have a good camera that didn't cost me much. I have a Sony Cybershot S2100 Silver 12.0MP Digital Camera and I am glad I didn't have to pay tons of money to get it either. A camera like that normally costs around 130 bucks but being the bargain shopper that I am I got it for 59.00 dollars. Nothing makes me more happier than saving a few bucks.

I like taking pictures of my surroundings.There is nothing more beautiful than having pictures of clouds and cows and pretty flowers all taken by me on a nice sunny day. How do you like to spend your time off or when you have some free time during the day?

A beautiful long prom dress at a great price

I have a daughter in high school who has been looking for the perfect prom dress. My hubby says all he wants is for it to be a long prom dress. Hubby is lucky that his daughter likes long prom dresses because If I was her age I would have went with the short prom dresses instead. My daughter has good taste in dresses though. The dress she currently wants is less than 200.00. If you have shopped for prom dresses before you know that they can cost a lot of money.

This dress she picked out is made for a princess and that is exactly what my daughter looks like. I wish I could find some shoes that looked like glass slippers to make the gown complete. I must admit that I am living vicariously through my daughter and I am so glad she has let me help her pick out her dress. Don't you think the dress is beautiful ?

A breath of clean fresh air

I can't stand having cooking odors surrounding the house. No matter how much I try to ventilate the kitchen when I cook, the food smell stays in my kitchen and in my living room. I asked one of my girlfriends how she always has her house smelling so good even when she cooks and she told me to look into an air purifier.

I hate spending tons of money when I can get the same product for a much cheaper price. I am constantly looking for awesome shopping finds and guess what I found today? I found an Oreck air purifer for 91.95 If you have shopped around for air purifiers you will know that less than a hundred dollars for an air purifier is a very good price. I can't wait til I get my air purifier delivered and I can get rid of the nasty odors and have nice clean air to breathe in. I can be such a diva sometimes but who wouldn't want clean fresh air to breathe?

My hubby and I can cook the way we want to

I love to have barbeque's on the weekend if the weather permits. The weather is getting warmer and Summer is just a few months away. When it comes to barbequing I like to use a gas griller while the hubby likes to use a charcoal griller. Luckily for us the Char-Griller Duo S-5050 Gas and Charcoal Grill provides both options for either of us to use.

My hubby says that food taste better when it is grilled using charcoal. I don't agree I like the way food cooks quicker when I use the gas grill. I guess we will both have our own opinions when it comes to grilling. I love eating hamburgers off the grill and my children love when I make hotdogs and hamburgers and french fries for dinner.

The one thing I haven't gotten good at is making baby back ribs. My hubby makes some fingrt licking good ribs but mine don't come out as good as his. Someday I will perfect my recipe and have my ribs come out just as good as his.

Sometimes it's hard for me to find the perfect gift for my nephews that won't seem too childish and it wont break my wallet. My nephews are at that age where they dont play with little kids toys and they arent grown enough to have adult things.

I find it easier to shop for a junior plus size dress for myself than to get a gift my newphews will like. I went looking and looking for a gift for them since their birthday is in a week and I am glad I was able to find something they will love.

I am putting this giraffe tv in my little boys room

I have my sons room decorated in animal print and I have been wanting for awhile to put a t.v in their room. I wanted something cute like the car's tv my older sons have in their room but couldn' find anything that went with the animal theme until now. Cutting my kitchen time is always good

When it comes to my kitchen I want every gadget and utensil that will make my time in the kitchen easier. I love buying new items for my kitchen. When I saw this World Cuisine tri-blade plastic spiral vegetable slicer I said to myself I have to have it.

I hate ordinary potato peelers that take me a long time to peel my veggies. I am al about easy and simple kitchen items. I am not one of those women that likes to be in the kitchen all day. I have things to do and the less time I spend in the kitchen the more I can get done.

Cutting time in the house lets me go get some custom airbrush tanning that I so badly need. I sometimes wish I could have a personal chef that would take care of all my kitchen and food needs and that way I dont have to spend anytime in the kitchen.

Since I do have to be in the kitchen this World Cusine tri-blade vegetable slicer will save me some kitchen time.

wireless mouse at a great price

I hate having to deal with a corded mouse. I sometimes like to use my laptop to do work and when I am working I like to be able to move around and the corded mouse are not that forgiving. I love the ease of a wireless mouse.
